Al-Sunni: We demand that the positive international consensus in the Security Council on Libya be translated into concrete results.

Libya’s permanent representative to the UN, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, called for translating the international positive consensus during the Security Council sanctions committee session, which appeared during the speeches of 35 countries, calling for practical and concrete implementation on the ground.

In his tweet, on Monday, Al-Sunni called for an end to the policy of double standards and negative interference in Libya, and commitment to United Nations resolutions and accountability from the inside and outside for the spoilers.

It is worth noting that the Sanctions Committee and the Group of Experts held an informal session, on Monday, to discuss the implementation of Security Council resolutions on Libya, with the participation of neighboring countries and those whose name was mentioned in the report of the sanctions committee.
