Al Manifi: The presidential Council cannot conclude international agreements.

The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manifi, said on Wednesday that the current Presidency Council cannot conclude any international agreements in accordance with the provisions of the Geneva Agreement.

Al-Manifi expressed, during his meeting with the Greek President, “Ekaterini Sakilaropoulou”, the importance of activating the work of the joint committees between the two countries In preparation for any future agreements that may be concluded by the next elected authority, including the issue of demarcating the borders of the economic and maritime zone between the two countries.

It is worth noting that Greece objected to the maritime agreement concluded by Libya with Turkey in November 2019, which added more than 39 thousand kilometers of water to Libya.
