Al-Hawaij: The Egyptian authorities will start easing restrictions on Libyans.

The Chargé d’Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Egypt, Tariq Al-Hawaij, said that the Egyptian authorities will start easing travel restrictions imposed on Libyan travelers, without the need to travel outside Libya to obtain a visa.

Al-Hawaij clarified on Wednesday that the beginning will be by abolishing the requirement to obtain prior security approval for the children of Libyan women married to Egyptians and their spouses, pointing out that the step of lifting restrictions on Egyptians obtaining residency in Libya until subject to the inclusion program – according to what the official page of the Foreign Media Department.

It is reported that, in 2014, Egypt imposed minor amendments regarding granting Libyans the Egyptian visa. Because of the deteriorating security situation at the time.
