Turkish Defense Minister “Hulusi Akar” said Friday that his country is providing with training, advice and support in the military, health and humanitarian fields, and the dismantling of explosives to the legitimate forces of the Libyan government, recognized by the United Nations.
In statements carried by the Turkish Anadolu Agency, Akar added that Turkey is providing support to the legitimate Libyan government, in implementation of two memoranda of understanding for security cooperation and the demarcation of maritime borders.
It is worth noting that the two countries, Turkey and Libya, signed, on November 27, 2019, two memoranda of understanding and cooperation in the security and maritime field.
