On Saturday, the Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, met at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Security Operations in Tajura with the Turkish Defense Minister, “Hulusi Akar” To discuss unifying the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in field of security.
Akar affirmed his country’s desire to provide all needs in the areas of training and human resources development for officers, non-commissioned officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior.
For his part, Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha welcomed the visit of the Turkish Defense Minister, appreciating the Turkish role in defeating the aggression against the capital, Tripoli, and its contribution to building the new Libya away from regionalism, tribalism and one-man rule.
It is worth noting that the Turkish Defense Minister “Hulusi Akar” is currently visiting Tripoli at the head of an important delegation that included the Turkish ambassador to Libya, “Serhat Aksen,” the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General “Yashar Güler”, the commander of the land forces, Lieutenant General “Umit Dundar,” and the commander of the naval forces.
