Administrative Control Authority: We investigated 338 cases during the past year.

The head of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, said that the authority investigated 338 cases during the past year, which included negligence and shortcomings in preserving and embezzling public funds, forgery of official documents and abuse of functional authorities.

Al-Shanti added, in an interview with Arraed, that the authority monitors corruption and its indicators in accordance with its annual reports issued annually, and that the government was unable to prepare its work plans according to which priorities are set.

Al-Shanti said that the government was unable to put in place the necessary strategic policies and plans to be implemented to reform the executive administrative apparatus Affiliated to it , which led it to failure to address the notes received in order to prepare for its prevention and avoidance, as a guarantee of reform.
